We're Hiring

Graphic Designer

Static Ads • E-commerce • Email Design • Remote

About Us

We are a premium skincare brand helping women 50+ finally see real, visible results in their skin.

Our customers are smart, skeptical women who have been disappointed by too many empty promises. Our product actually works — the challenge is creating visuals that cut through the noise and build instant trust.

That's where you come in.

The Role

We're looking for an Allround Graphic Designer who can own all visual design across our brand — from static ads to product pages to email campaigns.

This isn't a purely visual role. You'll be working at the intersection of design, marketing, and conversion optimization. Every design you create has a measurable impact on our business.

You don't just make things look pretty — you make things that convert.

You'll work with our Creative Strategist for static ad briefs, and directly with the founders for product pages and email marketing. You'll also collaborate with our Video Editor on visual consistency across all assets.

Your Three Areas of Ownership

🎨

Static Ad Creatives

Design high-converting static ads for Meta. Direct response focused, not just aesthetically pleasing.

🛒

Product Page Design

Design AND implement product page visuals in Shopify. A/B test layouts to optimize conversion.

✉️

Email Marketing Design

Design email templates and campaign visuals in Klaviyo. Flows, campaigns, and promotional content.

What You'll Create

Static Ad Creatives:

  • Single image ads with strong hooks and clear CTAs
  • Carousel ads telling a visual story
  • Before/after comparison graphics
  • Social proof and testimonial visuals
  • Product feature highlights
  • AI-generated images (Midjourney, DALL-E) when needed

Product Page & E-commerce:

  • Product page hero images and lifestyle shots
  • Trust badges and certification visuals
  • Comparison tables and infographics
  • Bundle and offer graphics
  • Landing page sections and layouts
  • Implement designs in Shopify/GemPages
  • Set up and monitor A/B tests

Email Marketing:

  • Campaign email designs (promotions, launches)
  • Flow email templates (welcome, post-purchase, win-back)
  • Header graphics and product showcases
  • Implement designs directly in Klaviyo

Weekly Output: 15-20 design deliverables across all three areas, depending on priorities.

How You'll Work

Static ads: You'll receive briefs from our Creative Strategist.
Product pages & email marketing: You'll work directly with the founders to plan and prioritize.

Tools You'll Use

🎨 Design

  • Figma or Canva Pro
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator (nice to have)

🤖 AI Image Generation

  • Midjourney
  • DALL-E / ChatGPT
  • Other emerging tools

🛒 E-commerce

  • Shopify
  • GemPages
  • Basic HTML/CSS (helpful)

📧 Email & Analytics

  • Klaviyo
  • Google Analytics (basic)
  • Hotjar/Clarity (helpful)
Important Note

You don't need to be an expert in all tools from day one. But you should be comfortable learning new tools quickly and adapting to our workflow. We'll provide access to any tools you need.

Designing for Women 50+

Our audience is different from typical DTC brands. They're sophisticated, skeptical, and have high standards. Your designs need to:

  • Build trust instantly. Clean, premium, professional. Not cheap or gimmicky.
  • Be easy to read. Larger text, high contrast, clear hierarchy. No tiny fonts or cluttered layouts.
  • Feel authentic. Real women, real results. No over-retouched stock photos or unrealistic claims.
  • Avoid "anti-aging" clichés. Our audience hates being told they need to "look younger." We focus on skin health and confidence.
  • Show the product clearly. They want to understand what they're buying. Clarity over cleverness.

If you've only designed for Gen-Z audiences, this will require a mindset shift. Our customers are intelligent, experienced women who see through marketing tricks.

What We're Looking For

Hard Requirements:

  • 2+ years designing for e-commerce or DTC brands
  • Portfolio showing static ads, product pages, or email designs that drove results
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Canva, or Photoshop
  • Experience with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, etc.)
  • Understanding of direct response design principles (hooks, CTAs, visual hierarchy)
  • Ability to implement designs in Shopify or page builders (not just hand off mockups)
  • Experience designing emails in Klaviyo (or similar ESP)
  • Can work independently from briefs without constant direction

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with beauty, skincare, or wellness brands
  • Experience designing for 40+ audiences
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience with A/B testing and CRO
  • Motion graphics or basic animation skills

Character Traits That Matter

  • Detail-obsessed. The smallest details make the biggest difference. You notice when something is 2 pixels off.
  • Fast without sacrificing quality. You understand that speed matters in performance marketing — but never at the expense of craft.
  • Data-curious. You want to know if your designs actually convert. You're motivated by results, not just aesthetics.
  • Takes feedback well. "This isn't working" doesn't hurt your ego — it's useful information.
  • Proactive problem-solver. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see issues and fix them.
  • Strong communicator. If you're stuck, behind, or need clarification — you say so immediately.
  • Organized. You keep files, assets, and projects structured so anyone can pick up where you left off.

This Role is NOT For You If...

We're being direct because we respect your time:

  • You only want to do "creative" work and hate implementation
  • You're not comfortable with Shopify or page builders
  • You design for aesthetics, not conversions
  • You need detailed instructions for every task
  • You're not interested in learning AI tools
  • You prefer slow, perfectionist timelines over fast iteration
  • You're not comfortable with direct, honest feedback
  • You think emails and product pages are "boring" compared to ads

What's In It For You?

Compensation:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and hours
  • Potential to grow into a larger role with performance bonuses

The Opportunity:

  • Work directly with the founders — no layers of bureaucracy
  • We invest in you long-term with real training and mentorship
  • Access to all the design and AI tools you need (we pay for subscriptions)
  • See your work drive real revenue (we share performance data)
  • Own the entire visual identity of a growing brand
  • Flexible hours — we care about output, not when you're online
  • Growth path to Senior Designer / Creative Lead

Our Culture:

We don't hire for quick fixes. We invest in you as a long-term team member, which means real training and mentorship. We want people who grow with us — not freelancers who disappear after a few months.

Ownership You are responsible for your work. You finish what you start.
Clarity Say what you mean. Ask when you don't understand.
Speed with Care Move fast, but thoughtfully. Quality comes first.
Collaboration No one works alone. We help, support, improve.

Tools We Provide:

  • Figma, Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud
  • AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT Plus, etc.)
  • Foreplay/Atria for ad research
  • Any reasonable tool you need to do great work

How to Apply

Send us:

  • A brief intro – Who are you? Why does this role interest you?
  • Your portfolio – Show us static ads, product pages, or email designs that actually performed well. Tell us the results if you can.
  • Your tools & workflow – Which design and AI tools do you use? How do you approach a new project from brief to delivery?

⚠️ A note on AI-generated applications: We work with AI tools every day — we know exactly what an AI-written application looks like. If your application is clearly generated by ChatGPT or Claude, we will not consider it. Write in your own voice.

No generic applications please. If your message could be sent to any company, we'll know.

We review applications within 5 business days and will respond to everyone, even if it's a no.
